Folks, maybe not what you thought, but I found a great looking haunted house. Well, I don't know if it's haunted or not, but someone took the time to clear away years of brush and growth that surrounded this place. I was quite
shocked driving by, and I drive by a lot...didn't even know there was a house in those woods. The road is only about 40 yards
from the front porch. Seemed like a cool place to photograph, so I did.

There's a lot going on in the images. I'm amazed it's still standing. Before they cleared away the brush, you'd never had know a house was here, it was buried in such thick growth. I wish I'd explored futher, but didn't want to get in trouble for trespassing.
Thanks for looking in Sirius.

It's does and there's a good chance it is. That's because less that two miles away was one of the bloodiest battles during the Civil War. Stones River Battlefield where over 24,000 soldiers were killed, wounded and lost or missing over New Years Day 1863.

It really caught my eye when driving by Angela, I went on about my business (shooting a Civil War enactment), but came back later, pulled over to the side of the rode, walked in and took these shots. I'll see if any of my photographer buddies know anything about it. I'm dying to know more.
