Sony 20 mm pancake lens doesn't focus

Bought the above lens (with auto focus) used from KEH. Advertised and looks to be like new. Put it on my Sony A6000 and it doesn't focus at all. Autofocus works with my other lenses, so am not sure if I have a setting wrong or a defective lens.
Before returning it, I thought I'd ask if any of you can point out something obvious that I might have missed.

Sounds like they send you a defective lens, send it back,expecting a refund or replacement!! Simple.
