After the 3rd debate polls still show the election within the margin of error. Hence the title. So much for hillary winning the 3rd debate.

Children, the popular vote does not decide the election. The Electoral College votes decide the election. And, fortunately, Trump supporters live in red states with not many of them.

Bob, if you read sites that took scientific polls, not used popularity contests online, you'll find that Hillary won all three debates. Scientific polls usually come out several days after the debates except for CNN, they called ppl back late in the evening of the debate and asked their opinions. They had called them earlier to see if it was ok to call them that late for those opinions. CNN was the only outlet who had the results by the next morning.

The veracity of polls depends on numerous factors. When you ask anyone 'who won' elicits an answer defined the that person's idea of what 'wins' means. How a question is asked is known to affect the answer. The distributions of 'attitudes' in the polled community skews to poll result. Polling is the subject of many research projects, some psychological some sociological, and certain principals have emerged. Beyond political seasons pollsters are engaged in public opinion for companies hoping to enrich their sales revenues. A fundamental question: do poll principles that seek to elicit accurate public views on, say, a new corn flake cereal really transfer to 'political tastes?'

The only argument there was for Hillary's good showing is that she looked presidential she was calm and collected. Trump nailed her on her foreign policy mistakes etc. Face it Hillary is a screw up. Also lets not forget NAFTA GATT

Just out of curiosity, how many democrats, republicans, liberals, and conservatives were polled?

One day in the near future those electoral votes will cross boundaries and vote for the wrong candidates/ You talk about discord now, just wait till it happens. Some states do not even have a penalty for crossing over.

Both were scientific polls that compiled a proportion of democrats, repubs, etc., that match the overall electorate. You can go and read the details on their methodology.

In other words, they are not those bullshit instant self-reporting, self-selecting internet polls where Trump trolls can rig the vote by voting an endless number of times...

But I know you are one of those Bubble People who will always deny any facts that don't fit your alt-reality bubble narrative that you get from WingNutDaily sources, so I don't expect you to accept these polls.

LOL. You keep ignoring ALL the other polls which show Clinton with a massive lead, such as the two I just mentioned:

New ABC News tracking poll Likely voters nationally Oct 20-22 MOE +/- 3.5 Clinton 50% Trump 38% Johnson 5% Stein 2%

Endgame in new Monmouth poll: Clinton leads 50/38 — in the four-way race

...while choosing ONLY the one that you like. This is called cherry picking, Bob.

So what you are saying is that you don't know? I just asked a simple question. You don't have to stoop to attacking me. Please tell me what the sample was. If you don't know, I will accept that.
