A struggle for the Osprey to catch a Salmon.

The Osprey had just caught a large salmon and was struggling to hold on to the fish.

I used 560mm. The distance was about 175 to 200 feet. Hand held shot.

Canon 5Dsr - Canon 100-400 II - Canon 1.4x III - 1/320 - f/8 - ISO @ 2000.

The blurred wings show effort/determination/struggle and makes this image!... really like it!

I agree with above responses; it shows he is really struggling, excellent shot. I'm wondering if he made it to the shore?

Yes, he struggled very hard to capture this fairly large salmon and almost lost it but the bird finally flew away with it.

The bird had one hell of a struggle with this large salmon but managed to fly away with it.

The osprey did make it to the trees nearby to feast on it. The bird captured a large salmon and had difficulty with it as the fish also struggled
to get away.
