John Kerry Sec'y of State (who served in Viet Nam) Axtually said the the press should not publish information, so tha the people would not know what's going on. That's right he actually said it. He believes that the American people should not know about terrorist events. THEY SHOULD NOT KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON. He believes that the people should be kept from knowing so the liberal politicians can tell them anything.
Where did he say this?
Got any credible source?
Now that you have cherry picked Kerry's statement, will you tell us the context such as the question asked then lell us Kerry's front end and back side words. Snippets lifted from more lengthly statements are alway easy to distort, as you have done.

He said it. Look up yourself.
To quote the Secretary of State:
Remember this: No country is immune from terrorism. It's easy to terrorize. Government and law enforcement have to be correct 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. But if you decide one day you're going to be a terrorist and you're willing to kill yourself, you can go out and kill some people. You can make some noise. Perhaps the media would do us all a service if they didn't cover it quite as much. People wouldn't know what's going on. (Applause.)
Same concept as many in the media who refuse to use the name of domestic terrorists so as not to give them the P.R. they crave.
And, the word is Actually, not Axtually

A fair reading of this quote doesn't lead to the conclusion that Kerry was telling the media to not cover terrorist attacks. The point he was trying to make is that the whole point of terrorist attacks is to create fear and that without media attention that goal would not be accomplished.
Poor Bobbit. Caught twisting the truth again.
So sad.
