The brown truck arrived and dropped off a spider holster belt. I haven't seen any of you talking about this product, but I am not on here all that often. This holster belt is AMAZING; completely eliminating all neck strain. Has anyone tried this belt?

I have a Spider double belt and it allows me to be hands free when walking around.
It takes a little getting use to but I haven't found anything better that is currently out there.

Does it require suspenders to keep it from slipping down under the weight? Thank you.

Not with my fat butt. If you're skinny they can undress you.
I have one and kinda like it. But it keeps pulling my pants down. Really. Suspenders would help.
Yes, great piece of kit, wouldn't be without it; that and the SunSniper sling strap.

I use the spider holster belt to carry a second camera and lens. I usually carry my Sony A77II with the Sony 18-250 zoom attached. And, I hand carry my Nikon D4s with 200-500 lens attached. Sometimes when I am photographing birds in flight I see a landscape that intrigues me and I need a wider angle view, I then carefully set down my Nikon and unleash the Sony, when done, I simply clip it back in place and I'm off again. Yes, it does relieve all shoulder pain, I keep mine lowly slung on my back left hip and I sort of sashay around, but not too fast.

I borrowed one from a friend for a three week trip to Germany, used it every day, and liked it so much I bought one as soon as I got back home. It is a real neck-saver when you are doing a lot of walking with a heavy camera/lens combination.
Got mine a while ago. I love it. The best accessory I've ever gotten.
I use one from Think Tank. I use it a lot. It has suspenders available. I have them but rarely use them. Haven't needed them except for really heavy lenses (100-400 II).
I Have the Canon 60D with a battery grip and some large lenses. Was wondering which setup you would recommend?
Thanks.
Yes, I too have the Spider double belt. Also the Spider hand strap. Both great products. No neck straps ever again for this guy!!
I worry about using it while traveling in places known for camera thieves. I know the holster requires the camera to be turned 90-degrees to release it. But the thieves probably also know it. I prefer a sturdy strap, even though my shoulder complains at the end of a full day of sightseeing.
