Here are a few of the shots I got both above and in the water while in Hawaii. The in water shots were taken with the new Olympus which is designed for all kinds of abuse.
Shooting under water was a learning experience since I couldn't really see what I was getting until much later. It was a matter of aiming and hoping, but I got enough "keepers" to make it fun.

Thanks Linda. The Olympus turned out to produce fairly adequate shots. There are some of grandchildren doing underwater flips that were fun. I may post some of those at some point. The dolphin shots make me want to jump in the water every time I look at them.

The reefs have changed on some of the islands where tourists have ruined them by over feeding the fish, so it was a pleasure seeing such a wide variety of species again. We went with a guide to two of the best snorkeling spots on the island, marine sanctuaries that are protected.
