we saw this American flag painted on the side of a small house in
the little bitty town of edgar springs, Missouri. right next to the
house was a country store and restaurant that had great food
and friendly people...just what you'd expect in a small town.

We drove to indiana to visit our son jason for a few days...drove through missouri and a few other states on the way back to georgia.
And I would dearly love to live in a small town like that. A grand and beautiful sight indeed, Merry, and I love your shots!!

Such a heartwarming look at Americana, MT! Makes you feel a bit of warmth amidst all the turmoil.
A lovely patriotic tribute. This sounds like a very enjoyable place to take a break from your travels!
'One Nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.' At least, that's the idea. And despite some of the unhappy things that have happened over the years, that flag still remains representative of the world's last best hope of Freedom.
Long may she wave.
