I tried to ID them but couldn't get further than land hoppers. I think you should marinate them in lemon and herbs, gently fry them and serve with a cream and brandy sauce. I would come for dinner but sadly I live on the other side of the pond.

i searched springtails and saw pics that looked right,but no recipes

I believe this is a Terrestrial Amphipods or Lawn Shrimp (Crustacea: Amphipoda: Talitridae). http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/pdffiles/IN/IN37700.pdf
