I just pick up an Fujifilm X-30 camera for family fun and taking sunsets, landscape photos. I am looking for any info on the best program set ups that you may have used? For example; film simulations and using scene selections like: Landscaping; Film Simulation = Velvia. What is the difference between "Release/Focus Priority" and auto focus setting "S" vs"C" means. Basically, I am looking for the best set up recommendations based on someone that has been using the x-30 for a while. I am generally impressed with this little carry around camera.
Thanks in advance for any info you may have.
Don't expect a lot of replys on this site. Us Fuji shooters use Fujiforum.com and fujilove.com.

Release/focus priority means it won't fire unless it is in focus. S means single shot, C means continuous burst fire (sort of like semi-auto v automatic rifle). Fuji makes very elegant cameras.

From the question you asked and the way you asked it, I would STRONGLY suggest reading the camera, cover to cover, several times if necessary. That's exactly what I do when I get a new and unfamiliar camera. You will find that to be well worth your time. If you can download a manual from fuji, you could also read it online and be sure you have the latest version. Best of luck.
