I just got back from vacation and have a hundred plus images that my wife wants 4x6 prints made for scrap-booking. We usually get them done at Walmart and they are acceptable for her purpose, but we have a new Costco and was wondering what their quantity 4x6 prices are. Can someone help me, and thanks.

You might consider checking with Costco.

Costco's 4x6's are 17 cents apiece. If you are a member watch their coupons...then they are 13 cents. Or if you are printing over 100 they're 13. A good deal and you can do it right on the computer.

You can check on-line. Just verified that by opening Costco's website. Best I've got on the subject.

Price may be on their site somewhere, but they don't make them easy to find.

EDIT: While I was on the site, pop-ups kept offering different services. When "Prints" popped up, I clicked on it. A 4 x 6 prints costs $0.17.

Thanks to all. Can I take in a cd or flashdrive? Seems like upload time would take forever.

I know you can bring in a flash drive. That's what I do at Costco with no problem.

COSTCO pictures are very good. But if you do your own tweaking of adjustments on your pictures, be aware that you need to uncheck a box which causes their machine to do an auto adjust. Its default is ON.

Costco is very good. My father is a member and gets quality prints from them. I am not a member of Costco and use Walgreen's. They do a good job on prints whenever I need them quickly. Walgreen's also sends out film for development. I never tried Walmart.

Instead of printing that many 4x6's, has she ever considered digital scrapbooking?
When I got my first version of Photoshop Elements, almost eight years ago now, it came with an extra CD about digital scrapping. I watched the videos on the CD, started scrapping digitally and have never looked back.
For the grandkids I have the finished pages printed and put them in protective sleeves in 3-ring binders.
For "special occasions" I send the pages to Blurb and have a book made.

PS - my savings were not so much in the printing of individual photos versus a completed page, but more in the line of buying papers, decorations, stickers, etc. Plus, it forced me to look at my photos critically for cropping, colour, etc. If your wife would like more info, have her PM me.

EDIT: I just realized you don't give your location in your profile. If you should happen to be in Canada, 4x6 prints start at 10 cents each.
