I'm Baaa-aaaack! Again...

Back from my travels. This is my first attempt at posting since the new system came online, so I have no idea if these will actually make it up there or not...

This was a walk taken along a footpath following the River Tyne, at Hexham in Northumberland. This is actually the spot where the North Tyne and the South Tyne merge to form the Tyne itself, which shows in the first photo (hopefully). Ok, just lost a whole paragraph there! Following on, there are some of the wildflowers that I shot while wandering along the path. Most of them, I have no idea of the species. I think the technical term is "flow-er..."

I wasn't able to take my good camera gear with me because of weight issues, so everything on the trip was shot with either my SX50 (these), or sometimes my little pocket P&S.

Nice ones, Phil. Hey, don't feel under gunned with your SX50--it can, & does, take some great pictures.

Phil, at the top of the homepage, go to "My Profile", and then scroll down to find the list of options. You can click on the ones you want. Be sure to update each change before going on to the next.

Yeah, thanks. I found them, but weren't they default to 'on' before? I had certainly never set them the first time around. I kept wondering why nobody had responded! *sniff*

Phil, welcome back and that SX50 sure is an amazing camera. Thank you for sharing and also the most important item is coming back here.
