Of an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail caterpillar....Found on a leaf of one of my Apple trees...The white "saddle" gives it away as to species. Many 1st instars look like bird poop ....LOL

That Cat is still there today on the Apple tree leaf, plus I found another one. This time on a Tulip Poplar leaf in the backyard...I'm assuming this one is a 2nd instar since it was a little larger.
