Focus-Stacking - Nothing is Ever Perfect

Here is another shot of the tadpoles. I posted a blog about obtaining the shot. It really is not a how-to detailed explanation, but more of a try it and practice motivational thing. I think many individuals get disappointed to quickly before they have explored the possibilities.

This attached image is the final finished image. The blog actually has more of the original captures to illustrate how different some images can be once they are followed through with Post Processing.

Thanks Erv. I wanted to provide a boost for those that may have attempted stacking but thought it was too difficult and that you had to have a perfect series of images to work with.

Good result and interesting link, I will read more of it. I am struggling with getting flower images in water droplets at the moment. Other members here are brilliant at it but I am finding it is not as easy as it looks.

Just keep plugging away at it. As I mentioned in the article, it is time and patience. At some point it will click as to what combination of tasks will render the images you are looking for. it can be quite fun along the way because you can see what doesn't work, but could for other subjects.

Just remember, you can learn all the rules of a soccer game, but you have to get out and play it if you want to get good at it yourself.

WOW, Douglass. I thank you for the comment. I will have to pass it on to the students in class next Monday. I really appreciate you when you yea or nay my images. Both are meant to point out things I need to do in the future. Thanks again. Always learning.
