Land planarian

we got 6 to 9 inches of rain the last couple days so when it stopped for a while i went out to collect something to shoot.i found this Land planarian was on a fence about 2' above the water

Nice clean images of this slimy creature. I have read that some of them can regenerate body parts even the head and brains. I wouldn't mind a new head and fresh brains. Apparently, they are quite interesting in lots of ways and used for experimentation.

Back in my college days (clay tablets and Cuneiform), we deliberately slit planarian heads, and several regenerated the missing halves, resulting in two-headed flatworms.

Apparently you can create many heads but don't do that or they will be more brainy than us and take over the world :)
