Nice clean shots Bob. My research has come up with the ID of Wolf spider, Lycosidae Acantholycosa lignaria but I am frequently wrong with my IDs.

nice shots - in my experience, sometimes these guys will play dead. I put a plastic cup over one I found last week and the next morning I thought it had died. I was taking pictures of it, turned my back, and it walked away when I wasn't looking!
