I wasn't able to get to the composter today (had to paint the bedroom) but I took my macro to the park with the dog and found a few bits and pieces.

I believe the last one is another oddball Aphid. I have found that they come in many shapes, sizes, colors and configurations.

Bill, I think you are right, the tube like feature at the back reminds me of aphids.
