If leaving it out in the weather is the way you normally take care of it, it must have been built extremely strong and durable.

My grandfather would have gone up like a volcano at the idea of leaving machinery out like that. His tobacco barn was an extra 1/2 story tall to make farm machinery inside and the small stuff went in one side of the garage/tool shed where his car went.

If you look closely, the Gravely is covered with a waterproof tarpaulin. Admittedly, it needs my attention to properly cover the handles.
This LI walk behind will usually start on the first or second pull of the hand strap, even after setting for a year. Try that with the stuff made today!

Maybe your grandfather was not taxed on property as we are here in New Hampshire. My taxes on house and land of $140K is $4.7K!! I am pretty sure that is much more than you would pay in California for the same property. If I put up any size building, it will be taxed and I want any spare money for photography!!!

That was in western Kentucky. Kentucky had more sense than to tax their farmers out of business.

Nice. I have one too. But right now it has the snow blade on it. First time I have been ahead of the game. We have not had any snow yet. Oh, I also put the plow on the truck while it was warm too.:) So far it is working.:):)

Thanks for your praise. I thought that the low winter light was appealing.
