...to collect some moss to display a Tegenaria atrica (our house spider) in more artistic manner than my norm but she wanted nothing to do with it. Luckily I then found a Pholcus phalangioides (Daddy Long Legs) who eventually succumbed. I make no apology for poor focus, that is my norm too.

All nice. I like # 2 very much! The moss seta & spore capsules give a real sense of scale.

Dang. While you were up there, did you clear the way for Santa? Or have you not been "good enough"?

Of course I have been good! The worry is that his sack may not be big enough. Roof is ready. :)

Nice set Brenda!!! I love them all. So you climb on the roof for moss? Can you show a picture of your house, it sounds very interesting!

Thank you everyone. No, I don't have a selfie of me on the roof and it was only a lowish part of the roof, I am not overly brave where heights are concerned.

Nice shots! I've always found the Pholcus critters to be hard to photograph because of the length of their legs, going every which way. But you did a nice job!

Thanks Erv. It is just an ordinary older style town house but there is a carbuncle on the end over the utility end of the kitchen which is low enough to reach with a step ladder. You see I am not that brave at heights.
