I am using LibreOffice 5.0.3.2 and I must have done something and for some reason when I hit the return key it is double line spacing. I have not been successful in finding a solution in the help files. One would think it would be in "formatting" but I can't find anything there. Can anyone tell me how to correct this?

PS their help files are in my opinion terrible! Guess you get what you pay for.

Format, paragraph, line spacing, just like it was in Word

Don't forget to save the document in word.

Beginning to think there is something wrong with my program. Only way I can get it to only space one line at a time when hitting the return button is to go to styles and use the header style. Problem is I have to do that with ever document. There must be a way to get the program to keep single spacing as the default and then change it if you need something else.

Why save the document in Word? I have made it a rule with my wife that I do not open word files, especially from someone who visits every crackpot site she comes across. If I need to send a file to someone who cannot open my ODT files, I will create an rtf file and dend it but I want no Word or rtf on my drives or media.
