Anyone do business with Fumfie Camera? They are offering a Nikon D7200 body for $799 with a store warranty, I suspect it is a grey market camera. But price dictates I do research. Thanks for any input you guys can give me.

"Store Warranty" explains everything. What is the exposure count? Does price include a lens?
With lens at this price, I suspect camera is previously owned.
New body alone price is comparable with several other sources: http://www.google.com/search?as_q=Nikon+D7200&as_epq=used+price&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&lr=&cr=&as_qdr=all&as_sitesearch=&as_occt=any&safe=images&as_filetype=&as_rights=

Wow !! Just did a lot of reseach of Fumile. I won't touch them with a 100 foot pole after all the stuff I've read. Guess I'll bite the bullet and quit trying to be so cheap!!

I don't think I could lift a 100 foot pole, let alone touch anyone with it.

Wise choice. Save yourself a lot of time AND a lot of grief later on.

Manufacturers control pricing. A low price indicates trouble.

Wait till around black Friday for deals also look at KEH for used cameras. They'll often have sales on used equipment. Also google coupons for KEH.

"STORE WARRANTY" = Grey Market (no one will repair). No warranty mentioned at all - Likely Grey Market. US warranty current or expired is a selling point. There is a lot of Grey Market stuff out there and lots of UHH members selling grey as well.

I tried Googling both Fumfile and Fumfie and didn't get a camera store type of hit. Do we have the correct spelling?

Don't know that outfit, but "store warranty" means absolutely nothing except that Nikon won't repair it. That's usually because it is gray market (a non-US item). When ABC sell gray market, which they do sometimes, they offer a SquareTrade warranty which is a reliable company. Nikon is selling a factory refurb D7200 for $999 with warranty.

Gotta back off on the Fumfie part. Tried again and got the site. Seems their prices are not much different than B&H. So knowing nothing about their reputation, I am not inclined to going with them.

A few dollars saved up front can turn into a lot of agonizing negotiation, and futile and frustrating efforts to get a repair in this country.
