I posted this in the Photo Critique section and someone suggested I post it here also. Looking for honest opinions. Thanks.

I'm normally not too interested in non-nature shots, but this has a quirky feel that's quite appealing!

I like the color, the lamps, the guy looking up, the couple in discussion (with him framed separately). It was fun checking out all the little details from a voyeur's point of view :)

Very unique look in my opinion. Wonderful lighting of the cast of characters. Is it the unfocused look that gives it the feel of a painting? I am very fond of this image.

Welcome and very happy to be the "someone".
Just love your processing here which is what grabbed my attention when I first saw it. Somehow it draws the eye in and creates a desire to look in all the nooks crannies and corners.
Not sure what PP program you use but the right hand side could do with pulling up to align the top of the window with the top of the frame.
Now you have found us hope you hang around and visit regularly. The natives are generally friendly and always willing to help.

Thanks, Linda. I was walking by this place and just saw something that made me want to "save" it.

Thanks for inviting me! The funny thing is that there was not much processing on this photo. That's basically what it looked like from the dark street. I'm not sure I know how to pull the right side up to align the top - not great with pp - only use photoshop elements.

Which version? I have 12 and 13. Have only tried the perspective adjusting once of twice. I'm on a different computer right now, but it's under image - transform, I believe.

Ok, I'll try that. Thanks, Linda.

There is something about observing an interior of people and things through an outside window that is a little hypnotic. Maybe that is a universal response, or maybe we've been conditioned by Nighthawks. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nighthawks#/media/File:Nighthawks_by_Edward_Hopper_1942.jpg

You did well here. It has an old fashioned feel to it. If you'd got the people deadly sharp it would also be an interesting image, but a different one. I like the mix of mild blur and the way the window reflection works out for you. And the light fixtures are a fine anchor for the eye. Would benefit, as Billy said, from straightening the upper right section to get everything plumb.

And welcome! It's a nice little place to visit with friends and gab a bit about pictures...
