The first two are immatures, taken in Virginia in May of this year. The last two are adults and were taken today in Athens, Georgia.
If they are the same two, they really have a strange migration pattern!

Yeah, I marked them with tiny numbers and - low and behold - by happenstance that critter from Virginia just wound up in my yard! Go figure. What's even more amazing, the numbers stayed on during and after the final molt. :) :) :) :)

cant beat those so i'll just say good shots.
Earwigs are good guys in the house and garden eating our foes, so I recall.
There was an old time radio program where an earwig entered a mans ear and burrowed thru the brain at great pain... the attending doctor said to him it is now thru the brain. The man was so relieved, until the doctor told him that it would turn around and come out where it entered!!!!
Sorry, I looked hard for that program to share... I think it was Escape.

I recall an old show like Outer Limits or Twilight Zone of the same. Except the good news was that it had eaten all the way through, exited the other side and was gone. The bad news was that it had laid eggs
Oops! Got sidetracted .These are truly nice shots BTW
