OK, here is the little Orbweaver who lives in my bicycle rack on the back of our vehicle and has traveled miles and miles with me and has escaped many car shampoos.

Lacewing remains? Lacewing dinner leftovers? Not sure what you mean. It's a katydid, I think way too big for a lacewing meal, possibly a spider left-over (like a wolf -- no webbing, but drained). If so, you got your spider in absentia! Like them all!

To my rescue again relbugman, thank you. I was thinking green insect so Lacewing but I didn't think long enough to take other clues into account. I find these things quite fascinating, another wonder of nature.
