As per Martian request I added some diffusing material on the flash heads to see how it would work with light and dark subjects. I did my best to find what I could.

Illumination looks quite even across all of these captures.
Are your twin speedlights matched in output, or one brighter than other (key & fill)?

You are correct as always Douglass (key and fill), depends how the natural light is falling and I adjust. When the natural light is blocked I'll adjust to the subject positioning with left or right (key and fill).

Thanks, my fault I knocked it from the branch it was on was going to put it back but when I got up a lizard snatched it for lunch. :(

I'm guessing you turned the power up?? Looks good, your yellow and purple flowers are perfect and not hotter than the subjects. Think your on track. Look Natural no flash detected.
