Hi: I am traveling to Wimbledon & Scotland after. I own a Nikon d7100 with 18-55, 55-300 and Tamaron 150-600. I am looking for a good compact zoom camera. Also would like some advice on a good wide angle lens for the camera. Thank you!

Take a look at the Tamron 16-300mm lens. Mine never leaves the camera.

If your talking about a camera to slip in a pocket and with a decent zoom..check the panasonic tz 60. One of my walking friends has one, and he said it's "the bees knees".
I have a Panasonic DMC-ZS50 that fits nicely in my pocket and features a 30x optical zoom. Also has a viewfinder which is so useful when outdoors in bright light. Have a great trip.

Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 reviews well by our photo mags.
A bit of advice about Scotland. If you venture outside the cities, the locals will make every effort to kill you slowly and painfully. Yes, the midges. What you read is true. Use a DEET based insect repellent on any exposed skin when outdoors. The swine are tiny, about 2mm long, but the numbers are unbelievable.
As for the other locals, tell them that you support Andy, and you'll eat well and drink for free!
Compact zoom = Sony RX10 f2.8 24-400mm Equiv. using the 2X clear image zoom...

Good wide angle ( reasonable) = Tokina 12-28mm f4.
Thank you all, for your responses. As it turns out, it's has been hectic & I haven't bought anything!
I guess I have to travel with what I have!
Will surely buy one before my next trip
Thanks for the advice on visiting Scotland as well.
