Help in moving photos from IPad to widows PC

Hello Friends,
My wife has made different folders on her I Pad of many people and events from her camera roll. Is there a way to copy them to my PC or external hard drive and still keep the organized folders? Or do we just have to move the camera roll photos over and then organize them into folders.

Mick, I believe you'll find the latter to be the case. Periodically, I move all my iPhone/iPad photos off to my PC and import them into Lightroom. I've done it iPhone folder by folder, with all photos going into the same folder on my PC.

I find the easiest way is to have an WiFi external hard drive which is both Windows and Mac compatible. You can then just copy them to your external hard drive and then copy to PC.

I use "PhotoTransferApp" downloaded to my ipad and PC. Using wifi I can send or receive photos between both.

Format a portable hard drive for Mac and PC and down load.
