On the Tennessee/NC border, on the way to Clingman's Dome in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

First two at 16mm, the last one at 35mm.

Beautiful set, Fullframe, and brings back memories. We attended a wedding in Georgia, at Lake Sidney Lanier, last fall and then made our way home by going through the Smokys, including Clingman's Dome, and then going the full length of the Blue Ridge Parkway to its end in Virginia. Great trip with many images, but lost everything in a computer virus. We still had the memory cards for a Florida Trip that was also lost, so was OK. with it. Will never reformat any cards from a trip again!

The dark clouds and sheets of rain in the secon edid is awesome It almost looks like a painting but better. Refresh my memory, what camera were you shooting with? Nice shots. Some more that are magazine shots. They should be shared with everyone. Professional quality sh8ts.

Bushy, I took these with a Canon 5dmIII. I have a ton more of shots like this I can post once I get back to a quality monitor.

Beautiful photos...I recognize where all of them were taken and I must say, you did a superb job. My wife and I once tried to take the Clingman's Dome road in November. We ran into heavy fog with ice on the road and chickened out. Turned around and went back to the main road.

You have created some great artwork and deserve a magazine magazine article in my opinion. Great shots I just hope they go to waste.

Sounds like a great trip! I remember your troubles with the data loss. Hope that doesn't happen again.

Thanks James :D I can imagine that would be a hairy road to travel in fog and ice......you might fall right off!
