New Rule/Old Cabin

I've probably driven past this old cabin 100 times in the last 22 years, usually with family & on errands. Last Saturday I had the advantage of being alone & on my way to a local wooden boat show (my wife encouraged me to go).

So, I made a new rule for myself, at least when I'm alone; "Stop! Go back and get the picture." It may not be there next time. The light/weather may not cooperate. I may never pass this way again (sounds like an old Seals & Crofts song).

It may not be there next time. I waited too long to photograph my old Junior High and it is now replaced by a fire department. Good fotos.

Great photo. Do the owner a favor and cut the grass.

Great set of photos of this old cabin. Lovely setting in that meadow with wild flowers. I'm glad you went back and took the shots.

Very pretty series, especially with the touch of color from the wildflowers. I like your new philosophy :)

 Bet that one's from the 1800's like this one in McColl, SC. Good to get the pics before they disappear.

Your rule is okay for people WITH you, maybe. What kills me are people that stop on a one lane roads, with their car blocking traffic, and then they get out to walk back and take pictures as if it is their world. Happened in Yellowstone and Newport, RI. The police are never around when you need them.
