$180,000 for a lens

That's right Ijust saw a 1200mm Canon lens on sale used at B&H The price really is $180 K I turned it down because it doesn't have IS

you would need 2 tripods, one for camera and one for the lens.

A tank chassis would be appropriate for that thing.

You might reconsider, knowing that when they came out they only went for about $80K.
So shoot it for 5 years and turn it over for $250K!!
Five years ago they went for $125k!!

Good idea, I think will buy 2. I will have to sell my house, car.- that won't work because the wife(ex-wife) will get half in the divorce.

Does the price include the vehicle needed to transport it, the tripods needed to support it and the team of sherpas required to help you get it into the exact location you will be using it? If not, I'll pass.

B&H advertised it several years ago, think the distance was 5 miles, I didn't get it because I couldn't lift it nor did I have the 180,000. Don't need IS on tripod, ha
