Last week we took a trip to Marathon/Key West and booked a ferry day trip to Dry Tortugas NP. It was a great trip even the sunset scenes had not been the best.

Enjoy the pictures...

Very nice shots. Dry Tortugas has always been a favorite and fishing in the area has been spectacular. Just opposite Dry Tortugas there is a little island with plenty of wildlife and under federal protection.
Thank you for sharing these beautiful shots with us.

Thanks all....

We only had coupe of hours on the island. The ferry landed @11 am and left @3pm. Times for a little bit swimming on the beaches and lunch break and the Fort is so huge - So I took whatever I could for a short period of time (climbing 2 stories high spiral staircase several times).

Equipment: 5D Mark III + 16-35 f4 IS Len + Carbon fiber Tripod.

Just a marvelous series of scenes...and, we really enjoyed you wonderful photos of this park. Many years ago we went to Key Largo and did not realize this place existed...what a shame.

Thanks for sharing!

Do it next time... Jederick! Lol

I'd searched on the Net (Things to do in Key West) and this NP popped out with those gorgeous pictures so we (me and my wife) decided to dolled out money ($170 a piece - including: Park pass, BF, Lunch and refreshment).

The time was so short on the little island for the shooting.

Thanks

We fished around it a long time ago, always wanted to go back, and walk around. That place is pretty huge. Like racin said, very well done! I would say that's the best thing you can do in Key West.

Very nice set! I want to get there. Did you have a chance to snorkel - it's supposed to be a great spot for that.
