A few from today with homemade diffuser!

OK so I got motivated and an idea popped into my head on how to diffuse my ring style flash without going crazy. Took a few test shots and of course all the subjects had to be no bigger than fat aphids lol! Seems to help a good bit and isnt too cumbersome. Please check the downloads as thats where the detail is. Bob

yes, yes, yes! Now we can see them purty eyes!!
A lot of milk jugs add a strong yellow cast. Clear acrylic sheets (available at photo framing shops) curved with the help of a hair dryer can cure that problem.

Thank you! The idea just came to me after a few fruitless attempts before this. I may refine this so its easier to remove and install- then it might be marketable. :twisted: lol Bob

Maybe attach them to an old filter ring: either a step-up ring or an old filter with the glass removed? As a prototype.

Perhaps. Not sure if the ring that it mounts to accepts a filter. Hmmm...Bob
