red spots

Here is a photo that I took of my truck last night. I know it's a complete failure but my question is.... What caused all those little red spots ? Shooting Mode - M
TV - 20
AV - 5.6
ISO - 1000
Focal Length - 28mm
White Balance - Auto

dust on the sensor - no biggie

Check your pictures to see if you see it on regular basis. It maybe a defect on the sensor...

I did a search on this and this is what came out:

dust or a more high tech response - take your pic - as it seems to matter not one way or the other - spot them out just like dear old Ansel did.

It looks like they may be hot or stuck pixels. Dust will appear as darker blotches, several pixels wide.

Agree with snowbear. I see a blue hot or stuck pixel too

being a pretty low tech guy it looks like lightening bugs to me, without color correction :roll:
