Is the Photoshop focus stacking good enough for macro work, or is Zerene a better software tool for focus stacking?

I have never tried Photoshop for stacking. Zerene is a very good program. I currently use Helicon, but I intend to give Zerene a test, once I collect a number of sets to stack. I dislike duplication, but if I like what I see, I will go for it.

Zerene is professional grade stacking software, leaves you more time for your photos and less time at the computer. Highly recommend.

I like the "less time at the computer" part. I spend a lot of time on one at work...so less of that appeals to me. ;-)

I tried a free stacking program and was less than pleased. Once I purchased Zerene I was totally impressed with the quality.
