It seems like every time I see one of those green jumpers it has a dark eye and a green one. Is that just the angle of view? Curious, cause I've never had the opportunity to photograph one.

Nice spideys....

Yes, two front-facing eyes move & focus independently. Dark eye is light refracted away from camera; green eye is light reflected off of retina directly towards camera. Sometimes you see half-&-half, like image #4, where one eye is just just slightly off angle for full reflection from retina.

Really nice set.
I am still not finding jumpers here.
I saw one a couple of weeks ago but nothing I could shoot at.
Well done.

 Beast Texas is aptly named!
As an aside, I once had a girlfriend with one blue & one green eye. Yes, she was a blond. :-)

Was it due to refracting light?
8-)

There's a video around here somewhere, showing one of these jumpers looking around. The eyes were constantly changing color independently and you could tell if it was looking up, down, left right, or whatever.

EDIT: I found one http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=Aq9rLta6mTGxuQjkfic.RRCbvZx4?fr=yfp-t-901-s&toggle=1&ilc=1&fp=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF-8&p=magnolia%20green%20jumper%20video
If you watch when it turns sideways, you can see the eye parts moving in the body too.

No. Probably inbreeding. :-) (it worked well for her though)
