I see all kinds of information on how to blur the background .. now.. here is my question! You are taking a picture through a chain link fence .. you DO NOT want the fence to show .. I have seen pictures like this and for the life of me .. can not figure out how to do it! HELP! The bear in the background was clear as a bell and the chain link fence in the foreground was blurred out so much you could not see it!

you don't need photoshop, it can be done in camera.

Get the lens as close to the fence as possible (don't touch the fence, you'll scratch the lens). Shot with a large aperture, wait till your subject is away from the fence. You'll create a DoF that works for you and makes the fence disappear.

The only way you can eliminate anythig in the forground of a photo is with a post processing software program such as Photoshop. I'm not even sure you can do it that way. Background yes. Eaisly done. Foregrond???

How to do what?
What exactly is your question? If your trying to blurr the fence in the forground then open the aperture as wide as you can. Focus on the bear and everything in the forground and background will be out of focus.

He's got a photo of a bear in back of a cyclone fence.

He likes the bear photo but he wants to remove the chain link fence from the picture.

The fence can be removed in PS

Here's how to do it ...watch the video
