Considering this was shot with a zoom lens in natural light, it's pretty darn good :thumbup:

Excellent action shot. Amazing how the robber can hang from one leg. I have viewed this scene played out in the field, but haven't captured one as well as this. Nice work.

Yeah, I was pleased to see it worked as well as it did. He surprised me. I see these are popular to capture.
Bright sun, mid day excursion along the Llano River last August.

To get the pic with the D90/18-200 zoom combo, I turned the barrel out to 200mm, set to MFD, had the back button programed for focus, approached the scene with the shutter pressed until he came into focus (about 18" distance). Camera fired a few, this was the best one.

I'm sure the D810 w/105mm macro lens, would have gotten a better catch. Maybe next time. They seemed to be roving in gangs that day.
