Tiny Red Bug & Big Hopper

I found both of these critters in a plant inches from each other. They were in the plant kind of deep, which made getting like in there tricky at best.

The red bug is a fully-winged adult. I suspect that the grasshopper is a wingless nymph.

The grasshopper's wings are behind the leaf. This was a fairly big one. I'm guessing a full grown adult.

Yes, the little bug is great on download. I found a jumper on the bed today which came in with the washing. I caught it but while I was looking for a container I lost it on my person. I have so many clothes on at the moment I may not see it again until Spring.

Nice shooting Bill. I like the wee true bug, nice colors on this one. It is amazing the sizes shapes and colors these critters come in.
