I appreciate critique and comments.

I use them to further my photography learning journey.

To reduce transmission clutter, I wish to thank all who provide a critique and comments in advance.

Thank you.

Looks like an image well accomplished via use of the CP filter?

Your title begs the question:

"Whither Patmos?"
(is Patmos a place? Or was that that Patmos' boat, in which case is Patmos a person?)

Dave

Sorry.

Patmos is a Greek Island in the SE Aegean Sea.

I like the concept, and some of the execution Dave, but the image has some distractions for me.
The shadows are a big distraction with a negative impact that clutter the photo.
I'd actually like the boat to stand out a little more, maybe at a lower tide?
The slivers of gold in the upper left quadrant are absolutely gorgeous, but they provide distraction. I'd either like them over all of the image, or over none of the image.
The colour and subject just screams Meditearanean to me, and I can even imaging those boulders as earthenware pots used to hold the nets, or fish, in a time long ago.
Its close Dave, but for me .... not quite.
