Dave,
This image immediately evokes John Masefield's line refering to "...the lonely sea and the sky" .
This image will be long gazed upon by anyone who loves sailing, or has merely longed to sail....or dreamed of sailing.

Strong impact, technical perfection, composition based wisely on R.O.T.

To my mind the only possible discussion re: possible improvement might hinge on the size of the sailboat. It is sharp and instantly recognized, so my vote is to leave it as is.

I agree with Dave in SD but have a question. What altitude were you when you took this beauty?

My guess is that this was taken from the top of Beachy Head cliffs, Sussex, UK which are some 162 mtrs high. How do I know this? Dave has just posted a picture of Beachy Head lighthouse taken on the same day :-)

I am cleaning up some files and forgot I had previously posted it.
Good eye -- better memory.
Sorry about the re-post.

It wasn't a re-post Dave, I just linked the location of this shot with your earlier lighthouse shot. I have many pictures of Beachy Head lighthouse it's a spectacular setting.
