NUMBER OF EXECUTIVE ORDERS ISSUED by U.S. Presidents in the last 100 years:
I'm attempting to retract this post, as I DID NOT verify the information and it is inaccurate, as I trusted my source. I apologize for posting this, and will endeavor in the future to verify before posting.
I'm not sure of the origins of your information, Jake, but it is, sadly, very inaccurate. You can easily check on US.gov to find the factual data.
I was researching JFK's EO's a little while back, and it seemed he issued some 200+ during his abbreviated term. I've seen the information you've posted before, and I don't know why the figures are so totally wrong (other than to advance an agenda), but the quantities listed are waaayyy off base.
Check US.gov, you'll be interested in what you find.

You are correct, I received this from a source I trusted and did not verify it. I have learned a valuable lesson on this one.
I have retracted the post due to inaccurate information that I did not verify, and will not post anything not verified in the future.

A worthwhile result of your error would be for many, many of us UHH'ers to learn a valuable lesson along with you. In today's "internet society" it's easier to be fooled than not. And even Snopes is not as reliable as many think in debunking erroneous information.
I hope you won't be fooled again, but you know, it can happen to any of us, at any time.
