When you are not smart enough to put two and two together let me explain:perhaps I did not formulate the sentence well but when somebody "gets cold feet" before doing something it means he/she did not proceed with the intended deed.So Obama, the Nobel peace prize winner, was threatening to attack Syria while most of the americans (including the congress) opposed the totally stupid idea helping out so called "rebels" which are pursuing an antiamerican agenda.Obama`s goal was to put Muslim Brotherhood in power in Syria (like he helped to do in Egypt and Libya). He painted himself in a corner with his big mouth and muslim "educated" brain, fortunately when UK and the UN failed to support the foolish idea which could possible lead to military confrontation with Russia and China he gave up.That is when the key words "getting cold feet" come to play,no military action took place. And Putin put him to shame as a statesman.
When you bring up Bush and Irag,it is interesting to note that when S.Hussein used chemical weapons on Kurds and Bush was talking about military action against Irag Obama and all Democrats were against it.As I said before they are all hypocrites.

I have to take exception with your above statement.
I find it sad that you advocate going to war so easly.

Your statement about Hussien using chemical weapons and Bush's desire to go after him, who do you think informed Hussein where the Kurds were huddled up none other than your obvious hero George Bush and the CIA.

Firstly there is no way that we would be involved in a military action with either Russia or China. Getting the muslim brotherhood back in control was the only way to return stability to the area. Granted Putin holds Obama in low esteem but this is simply a ploy on the Russians part.

You should thank your lucky stars that Obama was against the Iraq situation. We spent to long there in the first place, costing us dearly in young lives lost and money wasted. All based on Bush's lies, ashamedly he had the nerve to stand on the deck of an aircraft carrier and declare the war won and over, just as his lacky Rumsfield did with Afghanastan. This was after only one month in country. Bush's statement was after the initial strike against Iraq, yet the war dragged on for 12 agonizing years.

I seriously think you need to rethink your statement and put it in different words.

We had pigeons on our farm when I was growing up in Puerto Rico. They crapped all over the place, every time we got sick, my Grandmother would force feed us with pigeon soup, allegedly to get better. I'd throw up when she left us alone. Bottom line.... I hate pigeons.... I hate O-sham-a!!!

That last statement was just plain sarcasm for those of you that may think I'm a hater. I simply used that analogy as an example of the complete lack of confidence I have in this president. He had shown himself to be what he has been all along. He is a closet muslim, who was also brought up to be a socialist. He is still on the campaign trail since socialism/communism advocates a constant stream of propaganda without any substantial knowledge or practical means of solving anything. Case in point: the soviet union lasted 76 years using the same system that Obama wants to use here in America. What did it get them? 76 years of stagnation. The members of the Politburo, their apparachetniks, and their enforcers were the only ones that had privileges, the rest of the "comrades" spent their life in misery. Another case in point: Cuba, another case in point: all of eastern Europe.... Poland, Chekoslovakia, Hungary, Yugoslavia, East Germany, Luthowania, Latvia..... come I could go on!
We have a unique system that has worked since 1776.... and it will keep on working as long as we maintain our American exeptionalism. It has its flaws, but its the best system of government the world has ever seen.....So far
