Late blooming plant-life, illuminated by the afternoon sun. The timothy grass almost lit up like a candle. And then, I have to admit, the orange morning glory came as a complete surprise ..... I had never noticed one in that color before, and it's almost in miniature, but it too was blazing in the sun.

Texan, very rarely do I shoot from the underside and backside of a flower so I was amazed to see the anthers on this flower as shadows that are still visible (almost as if the petals were translucent).
