I was going to comment on the pictures to different people but Ron took me away from the computer for us to go picture shooting. There are so many good ones and enjoyed them all. Here are a few that I have taken with in the past month. Will try to get a few on tomorrow that I took yesterday and today. Will see how the day goes. Award ceremony at school for the grandkids and i like to see them get them.

Here are some from the files. I'll go out and look for more later.
#1 is a pattern I noticed on the beach one day. These "figures" in the sand were spaced about 2 feet apart and were virtually identical for about 300 feet along the beach. Repetitive patterns caused by the random action of the tide.
#2 The patterns of migrating cormorants.
#3 A set of driplets after the rain.
#4 The eternal beauty of a spider web in the fog.

Spider web with drops is a lovely pattern.

lovely images, as always Bushido, I have to start thinking of nature in more B&W--really brings out the details. Thanks for hosting
I feel like I have been gone for a month, and missed so many of the challenges and missed all of you too. But the crop is almost all planted, would have been done, but more rain the last couple of days. Good to be in the house and catch up on a few things. I told myself I am not going outside today--it is only 50 degrees and misting with a 45 mph wind. So am posting some old ones and will see what tomorrow brings.
lovely images, as always Bushido, I have to start ... (show quote)

Some wonderful patterns of nature captured by so many of you. too many to name, but, Peanut, your "Unfurling" is outstanding!
All of these were captured at the New Orleans Botanical Garden.

Is the background in this one distracting?
