Hello all, I am new to the forum but not new to photography. However I purchased a new Canon 60 d with the kit lens 18 to 135 a year ago and have not taken a picture that I would post to this site. 2 questions 1. Has anyone had problems with this well reviewed camera and 2. What sites would you recommend for my education in the use of the Canon.

Welcome to the UHH forum and howdy from Houston!
I started learning my Canon camera using learning videos from Blue Crane Digital. Their goal is to teach you how to take great pictures, not simply regurgitate the users manual.
Welcome to the Hog. On the 60D, there are numerous videos on YouTube on the 60D, just do a search there. It is a fantastic camera for me. I think you will enjoy it. By all means, sit down with your camera, a fully charged battery and the owner's manual. Go through the menu one step at a time and try different settings if need be. There is allot there, take your time and learn the body and lens. If you come up with a question don't be afraid to ask it. There are plenty of 60D users here.
