I am just waiting for the next passer-by. Traffic has increased since the fire.

I love your back yard too! What a cutie. Except for the last guy...is that a grizzly? Great shots!

just a brown bear. I do not think there are any grizzlies in this area -- except for the zoo.

First of all photographs of animals..... great.

But what and why are they called back yards.

I have aback yard, 16' of walled enclosure, but I also have a garden, grassed area 200', when you say back yard to what are you referring,

I am jealous of your back yard. Mine is not as exciting. Good pics.

The rail fence is my wall (see bear picture). I have seen no "walls" in our area. There is foliage & cover between most of the backyards allowing the animals to roam through. I have seen what appears to be the deer stopping and looking both ways before crossing the streets -- of course these are the survivors.

From the sliding glass door off my kitchen:
7 to 10 ft to the Fawn;
7 to 10 feet & up approximately 25 feet the Bobcat;
approx 30 feet to the bear.

I don't blame you and I think I would not get anything else done with these "yard ornaments" so close and willing to pose. (smiley face). Nice shot of the ice crystals on the limbs. Very nice captures!

I do believe what ya got there is a black bear, Griz and brownies have shoulder humps. and bigger heads..
"Black" Bears come in brown, black cinnamon and even white (Kermode bears) and even a "glacier bear" with a bluish hue.

Magnificent images, not easy to get a bobcat image
