I really appreciate the honesty from everyone. I am trying and just want some direction. I am really considering a class because I feel like I am in left field when I read everyone's post on settings. I am just completely lost! I did buy a new camera, other than the Powershot. I got me a Canon EOS Rebel T3i/600D do I am now trying to get familiar with it so I can get some better shots going. I don't know if I have made a good choice or not. But we will see! I really hope I have. :lol:

Thank you David, I am eager to learn. My friend and I are wanting to go into photography together starting with family and close friends. As you see in the pics I posted I am very amateur.

Thank you, I do have a ways to go but I am determined. I am currently looking to get into a class and have a mentor hopefully to work with. My friend and I are going into this together so wish us luck.
