Nikon never admits any issues. They "fixed" my D90 many times for over a year - replaced the body three times - the lens twice and never admitted there was an issue.
Always said - "unable to replicate problem in the lab" Cleaned and adjusted.
It was about the lens matching up to the body. F-- error message I think on the camera readout.
I would say to not go too far into the "OFF" brands. Some mislabeling does occur in my opinion from many reports.
Wasabi I have and all seems well.
Speaking of P&S
My Canon s110 does a great job for scenery and set shots.
I'd opt for that on a hiking venture.
I'm HAPPY WITH MY 16-300 TAMRON
Was happy with my 18-270 as well
I have a 7100 and get blurred pictures occasionally.
I just reach down and flip the autofocus switch on the lens or body back to autofocus.
Not sure how it gets moved but it's an easy fix ;-)
Is that considered user error ??

I have found that by offering old photos of dead presidents as an incentive gets better response. History buffs you know !!
OK - time to revisit this old question.
Got by the rocks issue, thanks.
How about this case - female product model at a convention booth.
Rice draws moisture from the air ... and card.
No joke
When one takes a picture must they show it to the subject?
Only a technicality and not a problem in actuality.
I guess this is a rather specific legal question.
Thanks
Did you go to the Wolfman link?
FYI
I just called them and was informed it was a "grey market" item.
I asked how it could be so cheap and he said they were wholesalers - without a retail outlet.
Repair problems could only be handled by sending it back to them.
No suggestions of other items etc.
thanks again --------------
Thanks Wolfman -
I suspected as much - BUT wow - all those pages of reports.

I think you guys must be way out of my league. I rarely shoot on anything above Medium /Regular setting on my D90 or Do 80 Nikon. Sometimes I get a Large/Fine request if they photos are going to be heavily cropped. I can get thousands of photos on an 8 gig card. I have never made a building size poster so I get by with small file sizes that regularly go to magazine print. What am I missing here?
