I use a Nikon 8008 with a SB24 flash Anyone want to buy it?
If you want economical metallic prints, send them to MPIX
After I create a Master recording, and burn it to a cd, all I get is one track. The current song that I am trying to burn to the cd, has 3 tracks. I can play it in the machine, but when I record to a cd it is just track 1
You may email me at weko2906@gmail.com if you would like. Boy, and help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Wayne
I know this is mostly a photo site, but is there anyone out there that could give me some pointers on how to use a portastudio?
I just purchased a used TASCAM DP-01-FX/CD. I have always wanted to try my hand at recording some of my music, now that I have one, I am not really sure how to use it, or what I really have.
PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. OH! I have the owners manual and have watched some of the you tube things, but most on their were kids. I guess I don't understand their language anymore.....lol
Thanks
Ross Perot said it best a few years ago when NAFTA was being pursued. "If NAFTA is passed, the huge sucking sound you hear is our jobs leaving the country" I am paraphrasing here. But he was correct. We need to start incurring tariffs again on all imports. Then maybe the manufacturing will come back.
I am an forced retired person due to NAFTA.
Thanks for letting me get on the soap box
I use Adobe In Design. It works hand in hand with photoshop, and Illustrator.
If you laminate the photos, I would either test a sample, or go to a cold laminator. I work in a print shop that does laminating and we will not laminate some photos due to the heat process...it will destroy the photo. Most of the time we will reproduce the photo with our process and if they want laminate the copy. But if you cannot reproduce the original and must laminate it, use a COLD lamination process
You might want to contact your eye doctor. I had the same problem, had cataract surgery and now I don't need glasses at all. What a wonder it is. It's like taking remove a film of vasoline off your camera lens. Can't take any better photos, but I can sure see my mistakes now!......
Graphic Designing layout should be done in a Desk top publishing program such as Quark, Indesign, or microsoft publisher.
It's ok to edit the pics in a photo editing program, but everything else, text, and etc should be done in the above mentioned programs. Editing and place of text is so much more easier, and if you are sending this to a printer, they will appreciate you using that format.
I dreamed the same thing as you, and I have done just that. I was an exec at the Maytag corp. always interested in photography, but really found my niche in photo restoration. The name of my business is "Portraits From The Past" and I put some flyers up around my small community and also contacted the photo studios offering my service. I had a portfolio available so they could see my work. Now, I have all work this retired old man wants. Need more advice, you can contact me at weko2906@gmail.com
Good luck, OH! sorry for not mentioning, but very good job on your work.
Sorry about that, it is Extract in PS, but in PSP it is called Object Extractor. It will extract the back ground so you can put what ever back ground layer you wish.
You use the extract feature in the menu bar. I works the same as extract in PS
I have been using PS 15 years, and belong to NAPP. Believe me you never will learn all there is in photoshop. Find your nich and perfect that area. I have all kinds of books and all the links given are fine, but believe it or not, for an entertaining read on PS Get "PHOTOSHOP FOR DUMMIES" I have many of the dummy books.......guess that describes me....
I taught myself photoshop, and once you find how each of the tools work, and you learn layers, you find PS very easy to use. It's just a matter of know what the tools do, and I taught myself by making "HAPPY Little Mistakes". As my teacher told me one time....make mistakes, that's how you learn.
