I have used eBay inconsistently over the years. That use has decreased to nearly nil. Their payment policies and charges were out of hand in my estimation so H have not tried to sell anything there for several years. buying is also a crap shoot because the descriptions often are misleading and not totally accurate.

I think that's the route I'm going to take. Thanks for your input.

I now wish I had installed a 2TB SSD for C. The first type has one notch in the end, and the other kind has two notches. I forget which is which and how they are named. Make sure to buy the right type, although you might be able to install either. Still, the newer type is better, though.

Yes, more "flavored water" should be allowed once you pay higher-than-expected prices for so-so food.

I laughed out loud though most of this video - funny signs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRsx87mFLIc

I really didn’t want to spend 17 minutes going through the whole video but once you see one funny sign, you just have to see the next…and the next…and the next…

Exactly!

Photoshop's new AI powered "Remove Tool" is quick and amazing. It took only a few seconds to paint on about a half dozen strokes with the tool.

I used Irfanview to do a quick removal of the shadows. Spending more time would give better results.

I like to see them move away when they see cars approaching.

Let me start by saying I am a long-time-conservative Canon shooter and currently own a pair of 1DX MK3's, great work-horse cameras.

I recently purchased my first a Nikon ZF a week ago as a travel camera, then the second after discovering how perfectly capable the IQ has become in Nikon's Mirror-less technology. The data results convinced me this is the best time for me to up-grade.

The corrective image adjustments and amazing focus performance blows my mind. The DF/DX mode is so handy the active "D" lighting feature is fantastic.

Image quality, dynamic range and the color science for the Jpeg's is incredible, that's something I always assumed impossible for publishing.

ISO performance, exposure control, image stabilization and the focus performance has convinced me to go the extra mile and move on to Mirror-less totaly.

If your getting stagnant or lack motivation when it comes to your older gear, I highly recommend the Nikon brand mirror-less systems to re-light your fire.

I purchased the grips, the 14-30, 24-120, 50, 40 and 28 lens's and could not be more pleased, especially with the price.

Off to another confident shoot tomorrow...

An unsurprising response. As someone once said, "if you don't have anything bad to say,..." 🤣

This is indirectly photo-related. My new to me computer came with 2 hard drives! The 1st one w/the least amt of storage contains all the main stuff to run the computer plus whatever I load on there. The 2nd one is larger & I manually load my photos there because I filled up the 1st drive almost immediately. My question is how do I get stuff to automatically jump to the 2nd drive? I was told by the guy who set up the computer that this should happen automatically. I am obviously not computer literate so simple explanations would sure help. Many thanks.

I have computers with a 1TB SSD as the C drive (OS and programs), and that size is okay. In my opinion, anything smaller is taking a chance because they do not work as well or last as long if they are close to being full. It's easy to clone your current C drive to a larger one and install that. In my experience, 4TB is the minimum size for the D (data) drive.
